I worked at Forestwood when I was a teenager. Every night Steve and I would close the restaurant. Then, followed by a city cop, we would take the deposit to the McKenzie Banking company downtown and then he would take me home. He loved to share stories of when the Dairy Bar stood where the restaurant was then and the Verizon store is now. He was a great human being and my love and condolences go out to Genia, LaTisha, Ross (who was a toddler when I worked there), Adrian and Torey and their families. Ya'll are on my heart.
