Steve Welch Obituary
Steve Wesley Welch, 80, of Harrison, TN, passed away May 13, 2024. He was born on April 3, 1944, to the late John & Jessie Welch in Chattanooga, TN. Steve loved his family, coon hunting, deer hunting, and trout fishing.
In addition to his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his brothers, John, Author, Robert, Ed, and Charlie, sisters, Junita, JoAnn, Barbara, and Pat.
Survived by his loving wife for over 60 years, Pat Welch; son, Steve Welch, II; daughters, Tami Tatum, Leann (Bobby) Barnes and Sherri Welch; sister, Norma Sue; grandchildren, Curtis (Meagan) Ellison, Clay (Kayla) Ellison, Lauren Jablonski, Logan (Sarah) Barnes, Briley Welch, Morgan Welch, and Scarlett LeMieux; great-grandchildren, Wesley Ellison, Olivia Jablonski, Evertt and Judith Barnes; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM, Monday May 20, 2024, at Gamble Road Baptist Church, 11703 Dolly Pond Rd, Birchwood, TN 37308. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 1:00 PM, May 21, 2024, at the church with Pastor Kenneth Nope officiating. The burial will be held at Barbee-Sims Cemetery in Birchwood, TN.
