On Sunday, May 18,2025, Steve Williams was welcomed home into the loving arms of Savior and Lord, after a life defined by grit, grace, and a deep love for his family, his faith and the simple beauty of the world around him. Born on May 20,1956 in Lima, Ohio to Hershel Wireman and Marjorie Williams. He graduated from Lima High school and earned Culinary Arts Degree from Hocking Technical College in Nelsonville, Ohio, along with Business Administration from Findlay University in Findlay, Ohio and completed a CNC programming course at North Central State College in Mansfield, Ohio.

Steve and Shirley met in 1999 in Lima on a blind date. A year later his love for her brought him to Mansfield. They were married Nov 16,2001.

Shortly after, Steve started his company 4 Seasons Indoor and Outdoor Maintenance, LLC. He ran a very successful company for over 20 years, with his son Steven and step-son, Scott. The boys enjoyed working alongside him for many years. Steve was a master of many trades. There literally was nothing he could not do. He had a green thumb and could grow anything. Steve had the ability to nurse a sick plant back to health. Trying and creating new recipes was one of his favorite pastimes.

Steve also had a profound love for animals. Through the years, he cared for many pets. His dog Baxter, cats Bella and Cheeky are lost without him. As an avid music fan, he enjoyed many genres. Steve was an excellent caregiver and at his best when helping those in need. He was the person everyone could depend on.

Steve and his son, Steven enjoyed working on vehicles together. They were best buddies, talking endlessly everyday. Steve had a special bond with his grandson, Dylan. From a young age they could be found in the garage building items out of wood. He was also a skilled woodcarver and shared this hobby with Dylan.

Steve leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Shirley Starnes Williams; children, Steven, Jennifer and Brian; siblings Janet Volbert, Rick Williams, Randy(Tina) Williams and Tammy (Kevin) Gunnell; along with several, grandchildren, nieces and nephew

Two of Steve's closest friends, Danny Lawson and Duane Hill, who were like brothers to him, will miss him dearly.

Steve was preceded in death by father, Hershel Wireman and mother, Majorie Williams; grandmother Stella Wisecup; step-son Scott Lewis, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to assist with expenses would be appreciated.
