With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Aguirre, who tragically lost his life in a car accident on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the young age of 15. Steven was born and raised in Del Cerro, where he spent his entire life surrounded by the love of family and friends. A freshman at Gadsden High School, Steven was known for his radiant smile, kind heart, and the joy he brought wherever he went. He had a deep love for dancing, a special way of making others laugh, and a natural gift for lifting the spirits of those around him. He was the cherished son of Daniel and Celia Aguirre, and a beloved brother to Jesus, Susana, Lluvia, Jr, Jonathan, Luis, Keven, and his late brother Juan, who passed away in February 2020. Steven was also a proud and loving uncle to Alejandro, Daniella, Daniel, Valentina, and Layla-a role he embraced with joy and affection beyond his years. Steven will be remembered as a devoted friend, a caring nephew, and a bright soul who left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of those who knew him. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on forever. We take comfort in knowing that Steven is now reunited with his brother Juan, and that their spirits are together once again. Rest in peace, Steven. You are forever loved, deeply missed, and will never be forgotten.
Con profundo dolor en nuestros corazones, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Steven Aguirre, quien trágicamente perdió la vida en un accidente automovilístico el domingo 10 de agosto de 2025, a la corta edad de 15 años. Steven creció en Del Cerro, donde vivió toda su vida rodeado del amor de su familia y amigos. Era estudiante de Gadsden High School, conocido por su hermosa sonrisa, su gran corazón y la alegría que llevaba a cada lugar que visitaba. Amaba bailar, tenía un don especial para hacer reír a los demás y una forma natural de levantar el ánimo de quienes lo rodeaban. Steven será recordado como un amigo leal, un sobrino cariñoso y un alma brillante que dejó una huella imborrable en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron. Aunque su tiempo con nosotros fue breve, el amor que dio y los recuerdos que creó vivirán para siempre.
