A memorial service will be held for Steven Ray Beard, Sr. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, 9891 Texas Highway, Many, Louisiana. Visitation for him be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. He passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on April 16, 1975, to Lindsey Beard and Katherine (Kemp) Beard in Plaquemine, Louisiana. Officiating his service will be Timothy Beard, Sr.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey and Katherine Beard. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rosalie (Barrilleaux) Beard; his sons, Steven Ray Beard, Jr. of Shreveport, LA, Lindsey Ray Beard, Sr. and his wife, Sunny of Florien, LA; his daughter, Skyler Rogers and husband, Joseph of Florien, LA; his sister, Shirley Spears of Negreet, LA; his brother, Timothy Wayne Beard, Sr. & fiancé, Sabrina of Florien, LA; his sister-in-law, Tammanice Beard of Florien, LA; and his 6 grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
