Mr. Steven Dewayne Beaty, of Jackson County, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee, having attained the age of 60 years, 11 months, and 15 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Monday, January 6, 1964, the son of George Benton & Betty Gene (Logan) Beaty. He was of the Christian faith, and a truck driver for Hutchinson. Steven's hobbies were playing the drums, guns, and building. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda (Beaty) Hardy, Connie Beaty, daughter, Lanora Ruth Beaty, stepmother, Lois Beaty, and grandparents, Rob & Melinda Beaty.
He is survived by his father, George Benton Beaty, wife, Linda (Wright) Beaty, whom he wed on Saturday, February 4, 1986, son, Nathaniel (& Andrea) Beaty, Stephen Beaty, all of Jackson County, Tennessee, brothers, David (& Jenny) Beaty, Gilbert (& Susan) Beaty, all of Byrdstown, Tennessee, sisters, Christine Beaty, Dianne James, Georgie Jones, Patricia Songer, half-sisters, Georgie Beaty, Torina Baker-Brown, step-brothers, Richard James, and Denny Beaty, all of Indiana, grandchildren, Isacc Beaty, Isaiah Beaty, Isabelle Beaty, and Jacob Beaty.
The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 12:00 Noon C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 27, 2024, after 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Maupin Cemetery.
