Steven Craig Bye

    

          Steven Craig Bye, 53, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away September 17, 2023, at his home with family at his side.

          Steven was born July 3, 1970, in North Kansas City, MO, the son of Steve Bye and Diana (Bridge) Bye. His father preceded him in death.  He graduated from North Kansas City High School.  Steve was a dedicated father and sole provider for his family, working in property maintenance until his health no longer permitted. Steve’s passions include anything outdoors, spending time with his family and was a diehard Chiefs fan.  Steve worked hard and partied harder, living each day to the fullest.       

          Steven leaves his children, Craig Bye (Heather Howell), Kristin Bye (Travis McLearen), Gordon Bye and Otto Bye; grandchildren, Tobin, Daylynn and Riley; his mother, Diana Bye; his fiancé, Loretta Buckley; as well as other family and friends.

          Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm Sunday, September 24, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, September 25, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ridgeway, MO.
