Steven Paul Corder

Steve Corder, husband, brother, uncle and grandfather, died peacefully July 9, 2024 from severe protein calorie malnutrition that went unaddressed. He was born in Carthage, Missouri on October 31, 1959 to Bob and Elizabeth Corder.
Steven made Las Vegas home for many years. He was a cabinet maker mostly; he built and installed cabinets for years and then did a lot of different things working for "Doc" in Vegas for years. Doc was Lonnie Hammargren, Lieutenant Governor for Nevada and a doctor with a ton of memorabilia with his own museum of things that Steve helped him display and throw parties at. Steve mingled with cosmonauts, Evil Knievel and other famous people, all friends of Lonnie. Steve was very proud of the unusual things he built at Lonnie's, as we were as well. His last working years at Impact Signs was different for Steve, but kept him busy with his attention to detail.
He married Catherine D'anee Claus in February of 1989. He loved and cared for D'anee and her two daughters, Cheryl and Rene'e, and later the grandkids, Taelor Alyssa, Amber, Ashlea, Joey and Hailey.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents, Bob Corder and Betty Corder Chenoweth; step dad, Leo Chenoweth; wife, D'anee Claus Corder; and step sister, Michelle Chenoweth.
He is survived by his sister, Bev Henry; brother, David Corder; step brother, Mark Chenoweth; step daughters, Cheryl and Rene'e and grandkids.
