Steven Joseph Culver, 53, of Harwich, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on May 7, 2024, in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a brave and driven man, a loving father, an amazing papa, and a hero to all who met him. Steven touched many lives and he always made his family proud.
Steven was a Massachusetts State Police Trooper from 2006 to 2024. He dedicated his career to serving and protecting the community. Before becoming a trooper, Steven worked at Robert Childs, part time at Harwich Police Department, and a reserve officer with Yarmouth Police Department.
He enjoyed snowmobiling in Rangeley, Maine with his brother, playing golf with his police buddies, spending time with his family, and being the best papa to his little man.
Steven will be deeply missed and is survived by his daughter, Fallon Leger, her husband Shawn, and their son Noah of Dennis, his daughter, Kelsi Culver of Sandwich, his mother, Sheila O'Toole and her husband John of Harwich, his brother, Shawn Culver, and fiancée Christine, and niece Alexis Culver of Harwich, and loving partner, Jessica Vieira of Sandwich. He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Culver of Harwich.
Visiting hours are planned for Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 3:30-7:30 pm at Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Blute Chapel in Harwich Center, MA, with a Funeral on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 11 am at the First Congregational Church, Harwich Center. Burial will follow at Island Pond Cemetery in Harwich, MA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the SPAM Benevolent Fund.
