Steven Paul Davis (Steve) passed away peacefully in his home on January 14, 2026. He was born on January 3, 1960, in Wichita Kansas to his parents Bermond Davis and Marguerite (Benoit) Davis.
Steve was loved by everyone who knew him. He was in the car business for most of his life and met many friends along the way. He had a way about him that made everyone feel like a friend, even if you just met him. Steve loved his early morning cup of coffee, his bible, watching basketball either on T.V or live at Koch arena (Go Shockers!). He loved spending time with his family, especially with his wife of 28 years LeeAnna.
Steven is survived by his wife LeeAnna Davis of Derby, KS, his sister Beverly Hunter of Derby, KS, his parent-in-law Harry and Mary Ann Gust of Wichita, Ks, his two sister-in-law Pamela Davis of Yuba City, CA, and Cheryl Davis of Wichita, KS, And his six children, Kimberly (Rob) Pittman of Derby, KS, Paul (Courtney) Davis of Derby, KS, Kelly Bargdill of Wichita, KS, Taren (Jordan) Kentzler of East Hampton, CT, Katelyn Davis of Wichita, KS, Taylor (Victoria) Dunphy of Scappoose, OR; son, Randy Kurtz of Wichita, KS. His Legacy lives on through his sixteen grandchildren, Randy Robbins, Tai and Dat Nguyen, Logan and Alexah Pittman, Lauren and Brooklyn Davis, Cael Asmann, Ami and Allison Kurtz, Jaxson and Addison Kentzler, Tryggr and Kaiyah Wilson, Londyn Rose, Lilyauna May, and Lexington Alexander Dunphy, as well as four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bermond Davis and Marguerite (Benoit) Davis, siblings Patricia Hunn, Donna Bonvechio, John Davis, Jan Davis, Dave Davis, and brother-in-law Jim Hunter.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Thursday January 29, 2026, at New Spring Church 12200 E. 21st St. N. Wichita, KS 67206.
