Steven Oneal Downs, 50, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed away on February 25, 2025. He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on March 8, 1974, to May Rhodes and the late Oneal Downs.
Steven enjoyed fishing, hunting, searching for arrowheads, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful grandpa to ten amazing grandchildren. He was a talented artist and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is preceded in death by his father, Oneal Downs, one brother, Kevin Downs, one grandson, Mason Barnes and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Roberts Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Roberts Memorial Chapel with burial in Mount Pisgah Cemetery near Magazine, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. (There will be no graveside service)
He is survived by his mother, May Rhodes of the home; two sisters, LaWanna Todd (Edward) of Booneville and Linn Helton (David) of Driggs; one brother, Kyle Downs of Booneville; bonus brother, Tater Catlett; his children, Chelcie McFarland (Lance) of Gangelt, Germany, Wesley Howard of Oklahoma, Briana Honaker (Shawn) of Paris, Allison Chambers of Etna, Alexis Barnes (Jerry) of Subiaco, and Jason Chambers of Russellville; Father, Ray Gregory of Magazine, Arkansas along with his companion, Zanna Lemmond of Booneville; other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Roland Miller, Jason Hillburn, James Peugh, William "Tater" Catlett, Jason Chambers, Allen "Chunk" Campbell, Terri Hice, and Justin Day.
