Steve was a loyal employee at Charlotte Pipe for over 30 years and was a graduate of West Stanly High School (class of 1988.) Steve's favorite days were when he was with his family, whether that was being at home watching Formula 1 Racing and Atlanta Braves Baseball with Avery or traveling the world on cruises with his wife, Cynthia, and son, Avery. Steve was a fan of the Carolina Tarheels and Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. Steve was a quiet but quick-witted man with a dry sense of humor. He had the mind of an engineer, he could take things apart and put them back together again. He could visualize his way around obstacles and situations with ease. Steve was a brave, courageous fighter throughout his 5 1/2 year journey of Colon Cancer. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.
