Steven David Garnek

Steven David Garnek, age 42,  April 29, 2024, of King of Prussia, PA; beloved husband of Maria Campo; devoted son of Michael and Denise Garnek; cherished brother of Alisa Garnek and "Papá" to his beloved dog, Grover. Steven graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BS in Finance and Management and developed an impressive professional career in finance and operations that spanned 20 years. Steven, a lifelong explorer, loved traveling, hiking, scuba diving, and even recently took up a new favorite hobby of shooting sporting clays. He relished spending time with his friends and family, often on vacation in adventurous locations. Steven, Maria, and Grover were travelling the country for a few years until his cancer diagnosis brought their travels to an end.

Relatives & friends are invited to funeral services on Friday, May 3 at 1:00pm at Joseph Levine & Sons, 1002 W. Skippack Pike, Blue Bell, PA.

Interment will take place at Haym Salomon Memorial Park in Frazer, PA. 

Shiva will take place Friday from 4 – 6pm at Steven’s childhood home in King of Prussia, PA. Shiva on Saturday will be 6:30 – 8:30pm (minyan at 7pm) and Sunday 3 – 7:30pm (Minyan at 5pm). 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Steven’s memory may be made to Coral Reef Alliance https://coral.org/en/ or Orangutan Foundation International https://orangutan.org/ or a charity of the donor's choice.
