Steven was Christian by faith. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
In addition to his father, Steven was preceded in death by his sister, Melinda Parker; stepfather, Robert Brooks; and sister-in-law, Beth Johnson.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Eva Brooks; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Tricia Johnson; granddaughters, Kaylee Johnson, Karoline Johnson, and Karligh Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Andy Hull; brother, Marshal Johnson; seven nieces and nephews; and girlfriend, Patricia Haynes Herring.
A funeral service will honor and celebrate Steven's life on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 12:00 PM, with Minister Brad Crider officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
