Steven S. "Steve" Keal

Steven S. "Steve" Keal, 66, of Parsons, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at his home.
He was born on October 12, 1955 in Ft. Scott, Kansas to Charles C. and Shirley J. (Warzel) Keal, Jr.
Steve attended Parsons High School. In his earlier years he worked in various construction jobs and as a claims adjuster for Kansas Claims Service, Inc. Steve and his dad worked together for many years on a large stamp collection. He researched the stamps extensively and was quite knowledgeable about everything in the collection. He was a voracious reader and could converse on a large variety of subjects. Steve also enjoyed music and attended many music events.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Parsons.
Survivors include his brothers, Mike Keal and his wife, Florence, of Parsons, Doug Keal of Cherryvale, Greg Keal and his wife, Tamara, of Olathe; sister, Sue Ann Harris and her husband, Greg, of Olathe; nieces and nephews, Travis Keal (Michelle), Aaron Keal (Schuyler), Joe Keal (Jessica), Chelsea Goad (Tanner), Wyatt Keal, Courtney Jarrett (Joel), Carlee Todd (Preston), Kealey Mae Harris, Rhiannon Keal, Tyler Keal (Hannah), Alex Keal, Isaac Keal and Delaney Keal; several great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Evergreen Cemetery in Ft. Scott. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Labette Community College Athletic Department, First Presbyterian Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, P.O.
