Born June 21, 1960, in Barberton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Frank Lindsey and Rose Mary (Ware) Lindsey of Rainelle.
Steven was a 1979 graduate of Greenbrier West High School. The majority of his work was on road systems in construction. His hobby was woodworking and he was a craftsman at it.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his nephew Ricky Lindsey.
Those left to cherish his memory with his mother are his wife of 22 years Theresa (Neff) Lindsey; his daughter Michelle McCormick (Steve) of Marfrance; two brothers Richard Lindsey (Sharon) and Kevin Lindsey, both of Rainelle; one sister Susie McKinney (Dwight) and their son Jonathon of Summersville; two grandchildren Bentley and Kolton; and a host of extended family and friends.
There will be no services.
