In loving memory, Steve is now reunited with his parents and survived by his cherished daughters and their families: Carissa, and Alan, and his two grandsons, Tristan and Brayden Pennington; Sherri Drury; and his granddaughter Lindsey and her husband, Carter Rosado. He is also survived by his best friend and brother, Randy Link and his wife, Laura. Steve's adored huskies, Sam and Sara, lovingly referred to as his "fuzzy butts," will find continued love and care in the comforting embrace of Laura and Randy. We honor Steve's profound roles as a parent, brother, grandparent, friend, mentor and teacher. Each day, we will dearly miss his presence and the wisdom he shared.
Steve's memory will endure, residing forever in the hearts of those who knew him well and were fortunate enough to be touched by his boundless love and guidance. His encyclopedia of knowledge and sheer passion - for most everything really - but especially music, aviation, cars, motorcycles, guns, and animals (as well as the best photographer of each) will be greatly missed. Steve was always just a phone call away with the time, know-how, and tools for whatever was needed to fix the current situation.
We’ll always imagine hearing him say “HELLZ YEAH!” to us when we share our latest achievements or making plans for more adventures.
A Celebration of Life will be announced shortly and we look forward to reminiscing about our beloved Steve with his cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that you consider donating to a local dog shelter in Steve's name. Alternatively, we welcome you to bring a bag of dog food to the Celebration of Life, which will all be donated to one of Steve’s favorite rescue groups.
