Steven A. Liskey

Steven A. Liskey, 68 of New Castle passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Seasons Hospice after a long illness.
Steve was born in Wilmington the son of Jean M. (Whitehead) and the late John H. Liskey. He was a graduate of Delcastle High School and worked as a shoe salesman for many years for Ben's Shoes and the Shoe Boat. Steve also worked at Christiana Hospital as a telemetry technician for four years and he received his CDL truck driver's license. He was a member of the Terrace Athletic Club, the New Castle Rod and Gun Club and the St. Anthony's Club in New Castle,
Steve was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Ann (Hill) Liskey in 1992 and his sister, Sharon Lee Fenimore in 2018.
Steve is survived by his sons, Edward of New Castle and Christopher and his wife, Samantha of Newark; his grandchildren, Starla, Juniper and Jordan; his mother, Jean M. Moore of Wilmington; his sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Michael Kaier of Daytona Beach, FL and his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Shirley Liskey of Middletown.
Funeral services will be held at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington on Friday at 11:30 AM, where friends may call after 10:30 AM. Burial will be private.
