Steven Kenneth Elliott Lloyd was born on February 5, 1970, and was welcomed into Heaven and the opened arms of our Lord and Savior on September 6, 2025, at the age of 55. Steven is preceded in death by his mother, Cathy Ann Disque Lloyd and his father Evan Elliott Morgan Lloyd. Steven is survived by his wife of 24 years, Audra Koch Lloyd; his children Kaylyn Lloyd Beadles (Anthony, husband, and Colton & Brantley, children), Carson Lloyd (Kalei, wife), Mary Koch (Crystal, partner, and R. Alan, son), and Joshua Sikes (Callan, wife, and Little Josh, son); one sister Melissa Lloyd; nieces Jessica Teal O'Connor (Aaron, husband) and Mickey Teal; and several great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

First and foremost, Steven valued, and was committed to, his family and his country. Most recently, Steven engaged in a massive labor of love and renovated a large property containing several houses that became homes for his family. Appropriately nicknamed "Grumpy", Steven loved being a grandfather and he boasted about liking that role more than being a dad. He referred to his four grandsons, great nieces and great nephews all as his "pals".

Steven served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for 10 years and was a veteran of the Gulf War. Steven is remembered fondly by his fellow Marine vets, many of whom he corresponded with regularly.

Steven planned on a military career but due to an injury sustained in service to this great nation, life had other plans. Steven chose a career in the insurance industry where he worked successfully in multiple capacities for decades. Through both his military career and his career in the insurance industry, he found his brothers.

Steven was a man of unwavering strength and faith. His "adapt and overcome" beliefs carried him through all of life's challenges, even when confronted with the recent knowledge of his cancer diagnosis. Steven was an honorable and loyal man who possessed a strong work ethic and generously supported his family until his dying day. As a man of great intelligence, Steven was a wealth of knowledge and the "go to" tech and math person in the family. He had an amazing sense of humor and consistently connected family members and friends through his humor.

Steven was authentic and deeply devoted to those he loved and he will be missed.

Rest easy, Marine. Semper Fi. Oorah.
