Steven Allen McCombs

Steven Allen McCombs was born October 22nd, 1951 in Minnesota. He left those who loved him on January 11th, 2024.
Growing up, Steven was a fun and rebellious youth, of which many stories have been told and shared about his wild exploits. Steven was a jack of all trades, having been born a natural salesman and artist not only on paper but evidenced by the work he did as a professional commercial painter. Steven married Joan Marie Hearnen on May 18, 2001, who is with us to love and cherish as we remember a remarkable man. Their time together was filled with memories and good times at favorite places, such as Southtown Bowl and Casper's, and they enjoyed travels together around the world.
Steven is the oldest of Howard and Edna's children, of which Roger and Jon and their loving wives, Judy and Kelly, are still with us. Steven has five children that he loved fiercely, Paul, Michelle (Christopher) and Colleen (Brent). He was a proud grandfather of four, Bradley, Brittany, Laynee and Aiden. He is beloved by extended family and many friends and will continue to be so.
A special thank you to the staff of M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital and Our Lady of Peace Hospice for their thoughtful and loving care which provided all of our family the greatest of comfort and peace.
A celebration of life for Steven will be held later in the Spring. Details will be made available once a date has been determined.
In lieu of flowers, please give someone an extra measure of love as Steven always did.
