Obituary for Steven Daniel Morello
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Daniel Morello, born on August 16, 1980, in Middletown, Connecticut, who passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2025. Steven was the beloved son of Joseph and Maria (Milardo) Morello and the cherished brother of Carmelo Morello and Salvatore Morello.
Steven was a proud uncle to Tiana, Aviana, Matteo, and Salvatore, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. He was deeply loved by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins whose lives were touched by his warmth, humor and generous spirit.
Steven attended St. Sebastian Elementary School, graduated from Xavier High School, and later went on to study at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. After completing his education, Steven proudly worked for the family-owned business.
Steven's life was marked by kindness, compassion and a genuine ability to make others feel valued. His presence brought comfort and laughter, his absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered for the love he shared, the memories he created and the lasting impact he had on his family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 7th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at D'Angelo's Funeral Home, located at 22 South Main Street, Middletown, CT 06457.
Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 8th, commencing at 10:00 a.m. at St. Sebastian's Church, located at 155 Washington Street, Middletown, CT 06457.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to St. Sebastian's Church in Steven's memory.
During this difficult time, the Morello family finds comfort in the support, prayers, and love of those who knew Steven. He will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
