Steven E. Morgan

Steven Eric Morgan, 79, of Dover, PA, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025. Born on March 9, 1946, in Lexington, North Carolina, Steven lived a life full of adventure, hard work, and devotion to his family.
Steven began his career as a tool & die before transitioning into a Facilities Manager role, a profession that took him and his family overseas with BMY. After returning to Pennsylvania, he worked for E.I. DuPont then later moved to the Niagara Falls area, where he took early retirement. Never one to stay idle, he went on to work at Goodyear for five more years before settling back in Pennsylvania. There, he and his wife built a thriving apartment rental business, which they managed together for four decades.
Steven was resourceful, determined, and always ready for a challenge. He had an entrepreneurial spirit, a competitive nature, and a strong sense of justice, always standing up for those in need. He loved the outdoors, spending his free time hunting, fishing, and boating. His passion for travel took him across the United States, Europe, and Iran, shaping his broad perspective on life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne L. Morgan; his three children, Wesley K. Morgan, Wendy C. Morgan, and Galen A. Morgan; and his four grandchildren, Mary Morgan, Albertina Morgan, Steven Morgan, and Matthew Morgan. He also leaves behind his brother, Jerry Morgan, and sister, Teresa Morgan.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn Turner Hines and Melvin Morgan, as well as two of his sisters, Elisabeth Fry and Kathy Burden.
In accordance with his wishes, Steven will be cremated, and his ashes will be scattered in North Carolina, a place that held deep meaning for him. His family finds comfort in knowing that he will forever rest in the land he loved.
Steven was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. His legacy of strength, adventure, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
