Steven Arthur Mueller, 76, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin.
Steve was born on February 12, 1947, to Leroy and Delores (Widder) Mueller. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School and enjoyed playing football.
On July 11, 1990, he was united in marriage to Virginia “Ginny” Peterson.
Steve worked as a Tool and Die maker at Polarware and JL French. Steve enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and traveling with Ginny and his family. He lived life to the fullest and was a fun loving, sarcastic, strong man, who was always a fighter.
Steve is survived by his five daughters, Lisa Janovetz, Denise Bohlman, Theresa Mueller, Laura Janovetz, and Christine (Carl) Hemb; one son, Michael (Nicole Tatrow) Janovetz; multiple grandchildren: Michael Schubert and Rachael Kubichka, Isaiah Baranek, Lucas Zschetzsche, Marieh Mueller, Christian (Alyssa) Janovetz, Anastasia Janovetz, Adam (Kayla) Hemb, Alyssa Hemb, Tyler Hemb, Nick (Courtney) Kartes, Amber Bohlman, Brandon Kartes, Hailey (Mario) Bohlman-Alicea, Justin Schreier, James Schreier, Jerrod Schreier, Landyn Janovetz, Oliver Janovetz, Brett Olmsted; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Kerry (Karen) Mueller; sister-in-law, Lynn Mueller; other relatives and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; two sons, Joseph Mueller and Robert Janovetz; parents; and brother, David Mueller.
A memorial service to celebrate Steve's life will take place at Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 12:00pm with Rev. Andy Shanholtz officiating. Entombment will take place at a later date at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum.
Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service.
