Steven “Stevie” Francis Murray, age 71, of Norwood, passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2025 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He was the beloved companion and significant other of Maria Levin, with whom he shared 15 loving years. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Leo Joseph Murray and Patricia (Egan) Murray. He grew up in Stoughton, where he became a lifelong resident and was a proud graduate of Stoughton High School Class of 1971. For over four decades, he dedicated his life and hard work to his family business, Murray & Sons Construction, a company he led with pride and integrity for more than 40 years. Specializing in roofing, Stevie built a strong reputation throughout the community and values he passed down to his sons who also worked for the company. He was a member of the Sharon Country Club for 10 years, where he enjoyed spending time on the golf course, and was a member of the Vanderbilt Club, where he worked out regularly with his personal trainer. A man who embraced life with a smile, he loved connecting with people especially his family and loved ones. Above all, Stevie found his happiness spending time with his family. He was most at peace surrounded by his children and grandchildren, creating memories full of laughter and love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his significant other Maria, Stevie is survived by his children Christopher S. Murray and his wife Kimberly of Taunton and Charles F. Murray and his wife Emily Dennison of Sutton.
