Steven Nelson Obituary
He was a member of the Elks Lodge 1042, VFW, and Fun Fisherman. Steven loved playing poker with his poker friends. He enjoyed life at Holiday Island. Steve was an army Veteran who served two tours in Vietnam. Before moving to Arkansas, Steve was a restauranteur owning "The Jail House" in Woodstock and "Sneakers Sports Bar & Café" in Illinois.
On October 14, 2018, Steven was united in marriage to Diane (Collins) Nelson who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his stepdaughters Joelle Innocenti of East Haven, Connecticut, Lorna Baker of Euless, Texas; along with other family members and friends.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Dorothy Nelson, first wife Teresa, and his sister.
Celebration of Life will be 5:00 pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Elks Lodge 1042 in Holiday Island. Memorial donations may be made to Elks Lodge 1042, 4 Parkcliff Drive, Holiday Island, AR 72631.
