Steven Paulson, age 28, passed away on September 23, 2023. The memorial service will be on Friday, October 6, 2023 at United Methodist Church at 11:00 A.M. A memorial visitation will take place at United Methodist Church in Litchfield, Minnesota on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Steven was born on December 22, 1994 to Stacie Eastvold and Rory Paulson. He loved fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and adventures in the woods. His favorite treats were Grandma Marlys’s chocolate chip cookies, cookie dough Blizzards, and blue C4 energy drinks. Steven also enjoyed gardening, lifting weights, 4-wheeling, and derbies. He also had a love-hate relationship when it came to working on vehicles. He was goofy and funny; he liked pulling pranks and he loved his chickens, as well as his puppy, Duchess. He was always there to help anyone with anything they needed, but above all, he loved spending time with his family and teaching his girls to be tough.
He is survived by the love of his life, Crystal (Diederich) Paulson; his children, Kialee Paulson, Adilee Paulson, Brixlee Paulson, and Brooklyn Smith; his father, Rory Paulson; his step father, Brian Oslund; his father and mother-in-law, Mike Diederich and Marlys (Rick Smith) Diederich; his grandparents, Vicki and Steve Schmidt and Kenneth Paulson; his siblings, Rory (Amy) Paulson Jr., Lori Paulson, Larissa (Chris) Tuel, Shon Oslund, Zach Oslund, and RaeLynn (Dom) Redden; his uncle and godfather, Scott Eastvold; his godmother, Racehelle Rawlins; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; his best friends Casey Miller and Alex Schoenwetter; and many other friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Stacie Eastvold; his grandparents, Harlan and Margaret Norby, Shirley Paulson, and Randy Eastvold; his great-grandmother, Elaine Eastvold; his uncle, Rick Balzum; and his sister-in-law, Amy Paulson.
Honorary urn bearers are Rory Paulson Jr., Zach Oslund, Shon Oslund, Dominic Redden, Casey Miller, Alex Schoenwetter, and Mitch Linder.
Steven will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
