Steve Peets of Fairport NY passed away Friday, November 7th at age 68 after a long battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
Steve is predeceased by his father Robert Peets; and mother Dolores Peets. He is survived by his wife of over 35 years, Robin Peets; daughter Danielle Peets (Stanley); his sisters Cathy & Cyndi; and many in-laws, cousins, nephews, nieces, and many dear friends.
He was a volunteer fireman for over 18 years for the East Rochester fire department. He worked most of his years at Marjax, Sentry Safe, Maplewood Estates and the Northside Inn. He loved fishing, camping and hunting in his earlier days. Later on he settled down with his wife and daughter and created a lifetime of memories for all that knew him to hold on to.
Best known for his sense of humor, Steve could find a way to laugh through anything or always find a way to make a joke. Anyone that knew him knows, Steve could ALWAYS find a way to make you laugh.
At a later date, to be determined, the family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for all friends & family that wish to attend.
