Steven Robert "Pohlcat" Pohl

Steven "Pohlcat" Pohl, 60, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on October 19, 1964, Steven was the beloved son of William and Karen Pohl.
Steven had a zest for life and a spirit that could light up any room. He was a man of many passions-whether it was rolling a perfect game at the bowling alley, bringing color to the world through his painting, or feeling the freedom of the open water while boating. His sense of humor and warmth were infectious, often punctuated by his favorite sayings: "Have a Coke and a smile." and "Steven Pohl is one cool dude."
He leaves behind his loving mother, Karen Pohl; his cherished sisters, Christine Barcus and Sarah Armour; and his adored nieces and nephew, Lauren, Taylor, Alex, Carly Barcus, Jack, Maddie, and Lizzie Armour. Steven was preceded in death by his father, William Pohl, and his grandparents, Rudolph and Margaret Pohl and Spencer and Winifred Kellogg.
Steven's kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends will never be forgotten. He lived life with joy and left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church (2016 Center Rd, Waukesha, WI 53189) on March 8, 2025. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by a service at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who loved Steven to share a memory, enjoy a game of bowling, or simply raise a glass in his honor-because, as he would say, "Steven Pohl is one cool dude."
