Steven Duane Robbins

Steve Robbins, 62, of Fletcher, North Carolina, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, surrounded by the family he loved so much.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Steve built a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Ludwig and his father, Bill Robbins.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Debbie; his daughters, Nicole and Leah; and his beloved grandson, Troy, who was his whole world. He also leaves behind his loyal dog, Bella, who never left his side. His step-mother Jackie and siblings Nikki, Toni and Jack. Also left to cherish his memory are his special cousins Phyllis "PJ" (Steve) Price, Anita (Steve) Caron, and Amy (Zyndall) Haste, along with many more extended family members and friends from Arizona, North Carolina and Texas who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Steve will be remembered for his kindness, his sharp sense of humor, and the unwavering love he had for his family. He was a proud girl dad; his daughters were the true light of his life, and his grandson was his shadow-Papa was his hero.
Steve came to faith in Jesus in 2008 and has been a member of Biltmore Church in Arden, NC since 2021; he never wanted to miss a Sunday. His faith in the Lord was his anchor in life.
Whether it was sharing stories, cheering on his favorite teams, or spending time with those he cared about most, Steve brought warmth and joy to every moment.
In celebration of Steve's life, we ask that you please wear University of Kentucky blue, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks gear or band t-shirts-just as Steve would have wanted.
A very special thank you to Four Seasons Hospice Care for their unbelievable support, compassion, and help during this time.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
A celebration of Steve's life will be held in North Carolina on Sunday, March 16th at Biltmore Church (35 Clayton Rd. Arden, NC); visitation at 2pm and service at 3pm. Another celebration will be held in Arizona on Saturday, March 29th at CCV (7007 W. Happy Valley Rd. Peoria, AZ) at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to 828STRONG. Steve cared deeply for his community and wanted to do all he could to help with Hurricane Helene recovery.
