Published by Legacy on Apr. 14, 2022.
Steven Anthony Saccone, age 46 of Round Rock, Texas passed away quietly and comfortably at his home on April 14th, 2022. At his beside, he was comforted by the love and prayers of his father, his only son and three generations of family.
Steven was the son of Phillip and Claire Saccone originally of Carteret, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Carteret High School.
Steve was born in Rahway, New Jersey and spent his childhood in Carteret, NJ. He was a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Carteret and later a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Carteret. Steve moved to Leander, Texas with his father and mother and later moved to Round Rock where he was a member of Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Cedar Park.
After moving to Texas, Steve worked side by side with his brother Dan in the family pizza business. After that he took on a Custodial Supervisor job in the Leander school district, eventually becoming the Custodial Supervisor at St. Edwards University, in Austin.
Steven is survived by his devoted and loving son Joey and fiance Martha – his father Phillip and his three brothers: Phillip Jr and his wife Ellen, Michael and his wife Laura, Daniel and his current wife Melody and previous wife Joanne and Steven's previous wife Tammy. Steven's extended family includes his nieces and nephews: Evan and his wife Portia, Lauren and her husband Dustin, Emily and her husband Eric, Emma, Mia, Siena, Rebecca, Olivia, Emalyn, Aubrey, Ava, and Orion.
Steve most loved spending time with his 14 year old son Joey who meant the world to him. As he quietly departed this life he wished to pass on this scripture to his son Joey, from Matthew 28.20..."Know that I am with you always."
