Steven Schill, age 61, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Born on July 10, 1963, in Bedford Heights, Ohio, Steven was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Fredrick Schill, and his great-grandson, Grayson.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Barbara (Payne) Schill; his mother, Jeanette (Kish) Schill; his sisters, Ann Marie Albert and Nancy Estes; and his brother, Andrew Schill. He is also survived by his children: Kelly (Eric) Roszak, Donald (Colleen) Schill, and Michael Schill. Steven was a proud grandfather to Emily (Logan), Eric Jr., Alivia, Alexa, Daisy, and Robert, and a cherished great-grandfather to Elijah.
Steven had a zest for life and a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in fishing, hunting, painting fishing lures, boxing, WWE, football, and playing cards-hobbies that brought him peace and created many lasting memories with those he loved.
Those who knew Steven remember his quick wit, boundless energy, and love for nature. He was funny and caring-a man who was as handsome on the outside as he was genuine on the inside. A devoted spouse, son, father, and grandfather, and a loyal friend to many, Steven touched countless lives with his generosity and spirit.
He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered and forever loved.
A celebration of Steven's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a small cell carcinoma cancer research organization or a kind gesture in Steven's memory.
