Mr Gaither was principal at WHS while I was there. One of his daughters brought him to our last reunion in May 2016. He seemed to be so alert and interested in the few of us who were there. So sorry for your loss.

Coach Gaither was my high school coach, 1955.
We kept up over the years as he was always invited and did attend many functions.
In 2013 he was recognized at Cannon County basketball game halftime event, as my senior basketball team won the gold medal at the Nationals.
And he came and was so thrillled. Great guy.
RIP Coach, Mary Jones Kelly

I've known Jerry all my life, Auburntown was a place he loved and cared about, he was a man full of information and I loved to listen to his many stories. Another great man gone but never forgotten. His legacy will live on. Prayers for all the family.

I've known Jerry as long as I can remember as he and my Dad grew up together. Jerry was always a 'larger than life' personality and one who was easy to love.

From the Earl West family we offer our prayers and condolences.
