Steven played drums professionally for years, backing up acts like Dianna Ross and The Platters. He was also an architectural draftsmen by trade as well as a second degree black belt in karate.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his two daughters, Rachel Morgan and Tabitha Beurer; and grandchildren, Roxy Beurer, Brinley Beurer, and Hazel Morgan.
The family will accept guests for a visitation held Thursday, August 28, 2025, 6-8:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main St., Hampstead, MD 21074. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:00 am at Hampstead Cemetery with Rabbi Nancy Ginsberg officiating.
