Steven A. Stoddard, age 71, of Coatesville, passed away at home on April 16, 2023. Born July 13, 1951 in Valparaiso, IN, he was the son of Ord Stoddard and Phyllis (Chester) Stoddard. He married Linda Davidson and she survives. Other survivors include his sons, James Stoddard, Cloverdale, Jerry Hodge and wife Lula, Camby; daughters, Jamie Gray, SC, and Stephanie Stoddard, Coatesville; Grandkids: Hannah, Dalton, Baileigh, Garrett, Lexi, Rachael and Chelsi; great grand kids: Dakota, Carleigh, Adam, Briar, Brantley, Harper and Preston, and several nieces and nephews. His parents and brothers Larry and Rusty Stoddard preceded him. Steven had worked for the Hendricks County Sheriffs Department starting in 1975 and retiring in 2003. He was a member of FOP, Wounded Warrior Project, Plainfield Masonic Lodge, Project Angel, Tunnels to Towers Foundation, St Jude Childrens Hospital and ASPCA. There are no services scheduled at this time.

Extending my sympathy to your family in your loss. I graduated from Kouts with Steve, and spent 12 years in school together. And with a class of only 56 kids, we were pretty much family. He was excellent in sports and well liked.
