Steven Stricklin

Steven Jesse Stricklin, age 66 years, a resident of Valley Head, WV, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at his home. He was born December 27, 1958 at St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Patricia Lee Haze Stricklin of FL and the late Dale Arthur Stricklin. On December 29, 1979 he was married to Donna Frey who survives. Also surviving are one son, Steven Jesse Stricklin, II of Valley Head; two daughters, Tara Bauserman and husband Jonah of Bartow and Sistina Allen and husband John of Iowa; one sister, Jackie Cornwall and husband Craig of New York. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, Gavin Halterman, Lauren Conley, Thorin, Kylie and Cadie Allen, Isabella, Ellena, Abigail, AJ, Garrett, Marcus, Rileigh and Joshua Bauserman and one great granddaughter, Leilani Halterman. Steven was a Veteran of the United States Air Force having served for six years. He received an Associate Degree in Electronics and worked at Mountain Lodge at Snowshoe in Security. He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing and riding his ATV. Friends may call from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dave Powell officiating. Steven's request for cremation will then be honored. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Calvary Assembly of God, 24953 Seneca Trail, Vally Head, WV 26294 in memory of Steven.
