Steven Arnold Taylor, age 63, passed away May 11, 2023 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born December 13, 1959 in Southington, Conn., lived in Swanton, VT for 12 years then moved to DeLand, FL where he lived the remainder of his life. Steve is survived by his wife, Brenda, his children; Tonya Vandeusen (Luke), Kari Esler (Mike), Cody Taylor (Shelby). His grandchildren; Ava, Alivia, Hunter, Oliver, August, Michael Jr., Jacob, Brandon, Cason and Jace. His mother Sylvia Taylor, sisters; Karen Burris and Lisa Brook. Brothers; David Taylor and Jeffrey Taylor. Steve and Brenda were married Oct. 30, 1982 (married 40 years). They had 4 children. They enjoyed life by traveling, camping, bike riding and spending time with family and friends. They lived in DeLand where Steve enjoyed family visits and watching the various wildlife from their home. The relationship he had with his wife was like no other. Through good times and bad, they lived, laughed and Loved! Steve was selfless and put others first. He was fun loving, outgoing and strongwilled. He was an example to so many and a shining light to all who knew him. When you think of Steve celebrate the good memories you have of him. Remember life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. He will be missed more than any words can express but he will be forever in our hearts till we meet again. The Celebration of Life will be June 2, 2023 at 3 pm in the Journey Church, 975 E. Graves Avenue, Orange City, FL 32763. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Journey Church in Orange City (386)775-3500.

How lucky we all are to have known this amazing man,STEVE TAYLOR, How lovely to ... have shared CLASS 78 at Deland High School. With this one of a kind. How it seems that we have known him, How very long. And yet not long enough. How large he was in all of our lives. He will leave a big hole. And how sad how very , very sad.
