Steven Taylor

It is with great saddness that we announce Steven Arthur Taylor Sr. D.C., 69, of Belleville, NJ passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 24, 2025.
Steven was born on August 25, 1956, in Montclair, NJ, the son of Gilbert Taylor and Lois (McMickle) Taylor. He graduated from Glen Ridge High School in 1975 and went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 1987. He devoted many years to his work as a Chiropractor, caring for others while providing for his family.
Steven was known for his kind heart, dependability, and unwavering selflessness. He devoted his life to caring for others. He had a love for cooking and baking. One of his most frequented recipes being his crepe breakfasts with homemade whipped cream, that he notoriously made for his children and grandchildren. Though a quiet and humble man, he was passionate about sports and had a competitive nature. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to partake in a friendly competition, whether it be a card or board game, or a series of backyard games. His sharp wit and corny dad jokes never failed to entertain, filling every family gathering with laughter.
Steven leaves behind his four children and their spouses-Steven A. Taylor Jr., Cori Helmer, Kaitlyn Entwistle, and Kyle Taylor-along with five beloved grandchildren: Braedy, Claire, Madison, Theodore, and Saylor. He was eagerly expecting three more grandchildren in the coming months. He is also held in the hearts of his Mother- Lois J. Taylor D.C., and four sisters-Diane Martin, Lauri Taylor D.C., Holli Taylor, and Darcy Kallus-who shared a lifetime of memories with him. Steven now joins his older brother, Gilbert H. Taylor Jr., and his father, Gilbert H. Taylor Sr., in eternal peace.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at O'Boyle's Funeral Home in Bloomfield, NJ, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
