Mr. Steven Dolivornae Johnson - Tucker passed away peacefully, Saturday July 19, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia while doing what he loved most - Coaching and Mentoring.

Our beloved husband, father, brother, coach, and friend has peacefully entered into eternal rest. He was born May 16, 1980, in Hampton, VA, to Howard Tucker and Sharon Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Alexis ;three of the "illest" children, Jalon, Shantell (Christina Lewis), and Titus ; his father, Howard Tucker ; one brother, Terence Walker ; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Johnson.

He leaves behind a wide circle of devoted friends, loyal clients, cherished teammates, and a community forever changed by his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering spirit.Coach Steve was a cornerstone of his community, known both as a skilled barber and a dedicated coach.
For many years, his barber chair was more than just a place for haircuts-it was a neighborhood gathering spot filled with conversation, laughter, and debates. Just as he cared for his clients, he poured his heart into coaching youth basketball, shaping not only athletes but strong, respectful young men.

Whether on the court or behind the chair, Coach Steve was a mentor, a role model, and a friend. His passion for sports, strong work ethic, and ability to make everyone feel motivated and inspired left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

It is the desire of the Tucker and Sessoms families that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The family of Mr. Steven Johnson-Tucker has entrusted his final care to C. C. Carter Funeral Home.
