Steven passed away on August 23rd after a long illness. He was given a strong send off by many family from the home of his daughter Lisa and her nest.

Steven was born at Fort Knox Kentucky into an Army family. At Fort Benning Georgia he met his now wife Dianne. Dianne moved back to Maine with her family but he followed her as soon as he reached 18 and asked for her hand in marriage.

Steven worked in manufacturing and other general labor jobs as well as many entrepreneur adventures. He grew in his church and served an uncountable amount of people. Steven was always good for a laugh and became quite compassionate in his later years. Steven joined the church at 10 years old on his own.

Steven loved planes, trains, war ships (including sub-marines) and history as hobbies.

His wife Dianne and loved ones give a special thank you to Lisa and her nest for caring for him in their home in his final stretch which thanks to them lasted quite a while. Also, a special Thank you for church members who are extending their hands in this time of grief and have helped him become the spiritual man he became. Also to his Nephew Adam M. Blake for his special actions on Steven's behalf.

Steven is survived by his wife Dianne M. Wright, Mother in-law Dorothy A. Blake, daughter Lisa M. Wright; her fiancée Scott, her three sons Brandon, Matthew, Dustin, Great Grandson James and Great Granddaughters Alina and Aloura . Daughter Dorothy Wright; her husband Edwin, her three sons Jeremy, Gregory, Andrew, and two Great Granddaughters Anna and Iris. Daughter Tracey L. Wright and her son Christopher. He is also survived by four brother in-laws and their wives, about 16 nieces and nephews as well as more nephews, cousins and more in the southern states.

Steven is pre-deceased by his Father in-law Bishop Roland Blake, his Mother and Father Ann and Robert Lewis Wright, his sister Sue and his brother Bobby. He lived the longest of his immediate family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Albert & Burpee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 253 Pine Street, Lewiston. (207) 782-7201.
