Our beloved Stuart Bobry, of Pittsford, passed away On October 17, at age 95.
He is predeceased by his parents, Hyman and Sarah Bobry; siblings, Gerald Bobry, June Lewis and Fay Gottfried; granddaughter, Emily Bobry. Stuart is survived by his wife, his eternal girlfriend, Betsy Bobry; children, Harold (Terri) Bobry, Linda (Michael) Raff and Michael Bobry; grandchildren, Melanie (Dan Polant) Bobry; Jennifer (Brad) Rosenbaum, Lisa (Bernard) Birnbaum, Steven (Peter) Raff, Daniel (Seyera) Bobry, Elana Bobry and Daniel and Elana's mother, Doris Bobry; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Evelyn, Sammy, Tristan, Nathan, Graham, Lucas, Charlotte, Adam and Jonah.
Stuart graduated from the University of Buffalo and upon graduation joined his older brother, Gerald, in the family scrap metal and cooperage business. Stuart always put his family first and taught all of us to respect everyone. He was always involved in philanthropy, especially through Temple B'rith Kodesh, where he chaired multiple fundraising campaigns. He liked to travel and was able to go all around the world with his special person, Betsy.
Stuart's Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Temple B'rith Kodesh, 2131 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14618. Interment to follow at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford.

The family will sit Shiva from 7:00-9:00 PM on Saturday, October 19th, and from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, all held at 6 Mid Ponds Lane, Pittsford, NY 14534.
