Stuart Sherlock Obituary
December 13, 2023
Stuart A. Sherlock, 63, of Central Square passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square, NY. Stuart will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery.
He was born in Syracuse to Stuart and Maryann Sherlock on June 28, 1960. Stuart attended Chittenango High School, and started his own auto detailing business; Upstate Auto Design in Central Square.
He was an avid outdoorsman; he found happiness in being in the woods, hunting or on the water, and fishing. In addition, he loved to cook, raced snowmobiles and cars, but his greatest joy was his family and grandkids. In his free time you could find him at his children's homes in the company of his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Maryann Sherlock, Stuart (Sue) Sherlock, and his children; Sara (JR) Russo and Stuart (Bri) Sherlock; his beloved grandchildren; Rowan, Riley, Grayson and Easton, his siblings; Tammy (Doug) Clarke, Jeff (Andi) Sherlock, Kara (Bill) Mcdonald and his nieces and nephews; Jeffery, Mackenzie, Kayli, Daniel, Trevor, and Chase.
Arrangements are entrusted to Traub Funeral Home in Central Square, where memories and words of comfort can be shared at www.traubfh.com

I´ll never forget new year´s eve 1998.we had the best time in old forge. New Year´s Day when it came time for all of us to leave none of our cars would start except my sister in law´s, it was so cold you couldn´t even catch your breath when you were outside. Needless to say we got them all running and started our way back home making a few beverage stop but we never turned our cars off while we were hydrating ourselves. We love you Stu you will always be in our hearts forever..

I have so many great memories of camping, boating, snowmobiling and just hanging out and making food together with Stu. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Hoping that the support of loved ones brings you comfort during this sad time. May you always feel his hand on your shoulder and hear his laugh echo in your heart.
