Very sad. Heot me into the SJC OBA in Jaffna in the late 1980s as a Life Member. Later he worked closely with him as Colombo Editor of the OBA when he was President. We enjoyed sparring with each other
on his sharp understanding of grammar with rule from government writing codes. He asked me later to head a College in Colombo. I agreed, had dinner with him and Jolly Somasundaram and funders with connexions in the Central Bank. I withdrew because the College was to be dedicated to Sai Baba.
He had a sharp mind.
