Sue Jane Williams Anthony moved to her celestial home on December 29, 2023, at the age of 83.

Sue Jane was born in Nicholson, GA on December 19, 1940. She started residing in Athens, Ga in 1963 and moved to Winterville, GA in 2006.   She is daughter of the late William Martin Williams and Esther Eunice Howington Williams. 

She is survived by her husband of 66 years: William Luke Anthony. Mother of 4 Children:  Susan Nadine Wright and her husband Dwain of Madison, AL, Naomi Carol Palmer and her husband Gary of Winterville, GA,  Natalie Jane Brooks of Winterville, GA, and Thomas Mark Anthony and his wife Jonie of Athens, GA.  Grandmother to 9: Nathan Wright, Jeremy Palmer, Amber Wright-Nelson, Nicholas Palmer, Tony Carleo, Sarah Carleo, Jennifer Anthony, Julie Anthony, and Turner Brooks.  Great-grandmother to 9: Luke Nelson, Cana Nelson, Kristy Palmer, Ruuk Lancaster, Alec Palmer, Izzabella Palmer, Amery Palmer, Kaya Carleo, and Rocco Carleo.
  She has 4 siblings: survived by Sister, Diane Williams McKinney and her husband Terry of Warner Robins, GA.  
And 3 who preceded her in death: Sara Epps, Phillip Williams, and Garnet Williams.    Sue Jane Anthony retired from the University of Georgia Forestry Department where she worked as the administrative assistant.   Celebration of  Sue Jane WIlliams Anthony's  Life   Sunday, January 14, 2024 At 2:00PM Held at: Trumps Catering 2026 S. Milledge Avenue, Suite B Athens, GA. 30605   ~visitation with Family afterwards~   Please dress Casually in bright colors and florals. Sue Jane Loved Bright Colors, Flowers and Birds.    We request no flowers.
