Edna Sue Withrow Bunch Beam, 87, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, went home to be with our Lord on March 20, 2024, at LifeCare of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W. L. "Bill" and Agnes Mae (Davis) Withrow; sister, Mamie Lee Withrow Tinsley and brother-in-law, Frank Tinsley; brother, Paul Withrow and sister-in-law, Joyce (Massey) Withrow; brother, Bobby Withrow and sister-in-law, Jewel (Tatum) Withrow; sister, Linda Withrow Mathews and brother-in-law, Lawrence Mathews; and daughter-in-law, Debbie (Johnston) Bunch, all of Cleveland.
She was a member of Mt. Olive Ministries where she was saved on April 20, 1997, and baptized on June 1, 1997. She loved her church where she was active in the Waymaker's Class and enjoyed being a "Greeter" on Sunday mornings. She also enjoyed going on church trips.
She retired from Peyton's Southeastern in 1999.
She is survived by her three sons, Terrell Bunch (Amanda), Steve Bunch (Lois), and Chris Beam (Sylvia); four granddaughters, Mandy Bunch Leslie (Brandon), Erica Stewart (Bryan), Courtney "Cokie" Beam, and Jaden Beam; three grandsons, Collin Beam (Taylor), Andy Bunch (Avery), and Conner Beam; and five great-grandchildren, Cooper Leslie, Gracie Leslie, Landyn Stewart, Neyland Stewart, Carson Stewart, and Beckett Beam. Also, numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Service will follow beginning at 2:00 pm with her pastor, Reverend Gary Sears, officiating. Interment will follow at Hilcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers are Terrell Bunch, Steve Bunch, Chris Beam, Andy Bunch, Connor Beam, Brent Mathews, and Austin Mathews.
A special thank you to Amanda Brenizer, known to Sue as "Melissa," for always being her friend and making time for her when she needed it. Also, for always catering to her!
The family would also like to extend their deepest thanks to Hearth Hospice for their compassion and extraordinary care for Sue in the last weeks of her life.
