Mrs. Sue Carolyn Bone, age 92 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Dyer Nursing Home & Rehab. Funeral services for Mrs. Bone will be conducted on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at 3PM in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Bells Chapel Cemetery.
She was born May 8, 1933, in Yorkville, TN; the daughter of the late Clarence & Leo Johnson Eakes. Mrs. Sue worked at Kellwood as a sample cutter until their closing, then as an assistant at Greene Things Florist.
Mrs. Bone is survived by daughter-in-law, Barbara Pack; stepdaughter, Suzie Cavaness; sister, Dianne Hollis; two grandchildren, Selena Cash, Kyle Pack; and great-grandchildren, Seth Cash, Noah Cash, Nate Cash, Owen Pack, Colin Pack, and Nolan Pack. She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph Bone; first husband, James B. Austin; son, Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Pack; granddaughter, Amanda ‘Mandi’ Pack; and stepdaughter, Belinda Hassell.
Visitation with family and friends will begin at 1PM until service time at 3PM, on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the Rutherford chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sue Carolyn Bone.
