Sue Bryant, 82, of Baytown was born March 11, 1928 in Cape Girardeau, MO and passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a very active member of Second Baptist Church where she was in the Senior Adult Choir and the Naomi Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Myrtle McLain; son, Douglas A. Bryant; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Norman Bryant and daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Chuck Russell, all of Baytown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ivan and Betty McLain of Cape Girardeau, MO and Jack and Jean McLain of Jackson, MO; sisters, Carrie Wilhelm of Zellwood, FL and Mary Wissman of Cape Girardeau, MO; grandsons, Clint Russell and Brandon Russell, both of Baytown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Clements and Rev. Mark Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX, 77521 (281) 422-8111.
