Sue Cunningham, age 71, passed away, Wednesday, January 14, 2026. She is survived by her husband, Dan; three children, Scott (Jenny), Chris, and Sarah; and grandchildren, Ben, Chloe, Bella, Piper, Sloan, and Sadie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Martha Eckhardt; sister, Pamela Farnsworth; and niece, Denise Bertle.
Sue’s final days were spent at the Divine Nursing Home in New Philadelphia on the Garden Way wing where she was taken care of and loved by the nurses and aides while suffering from dementia.
She was an extremely loving and caring person who saw the best in everyone she met. Her family was and is still the most important thing in her life and it shows by the pieces of her left in the hearts of those behind.
The family will welcome friends on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. A memorial service will be led by Pastor Brian Flood beginning at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
