Sue Gilbert Sevin Braun, 87, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 6 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. A gathering time will immediately follow from 6:15 PM to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be made to The Well at Centerville food pantry and clothing closet.
Sue was born March 22, 1936 to the late Harvey Gilbert and Elsie Howell Gilbert in Nashville, Arkansas. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Sevin; second husband, Ernie Braun; son, Chuck Sevin and 4 siblings.
Sue was devoted to her family, ensuring everyone was taken care of and knew they were loved. Her selfless demeanor displayed her compassion and empathy for others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Howdeshell; granddaughter, April (Ben) Baccigalopi; grandson, Alan (Nisha) Sevin; great grandson, Jacob Baccigalopi; brother, John Gilbert; sister, Mary Gilbert Albright; and a host of extended family and friends.
