Sue Ann "Toni" Hughes, age 75, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025. Born on January 11, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky, Toni was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Toni grew up in Louisville and later made Bowling Green her home after marrying the love of her life, Richard Hughes. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her faith, family, and friendships. Toni was resilient. She battled adversity with courage, and perseverance. Known for her warmth and vibrant spirit, Toni had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved.

A passionate fan of the Louisville Cardinals and Tennessee Titans, Toni eagerly awaited football season each year. Her enthusiasm was matched only by her creativity-she had a remarkable talent for decorating, turning any space into a showpiece and bringing joy to every holiday with her festive touches. She also loved the many years volunteering at Potter Children's Home Resale Shop.

Toni is survived by her loving daughter, Jenni Druen; her adored grandson, Joseph Druen; her brother Richard Eberenz (Monica); sister-in-law Suzie Eberenz; brother-in-law Robert Hughes (Sharon); and many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted "Mimi" whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Danielle Hughes; her husband, Joseph Richard Hughes; her sister, Cecilia Winebrenner (Earl); her brother, Daniel Eberenz; and her parents, Daniel and Cecilia Eberenz.

Toni's radiant smile, kind heart, and ability to make a friend wherever she went will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 17th at 2:00 PM at JC Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. There will be visitation Wednesday, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, inurnment will be in Bowling Green Gardens. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Toni to join in celebrating her life.
