Joe Ann Bell Reels, 87, of Bowling Green, KY passed away on September 10, 2025 in Mount Juliet, TN. The Bowling Green native was the daughter of John H. Bell and Minnie Owens Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jack L. Reels, sisters, Crystal Lena Kosavic, Mary Snell, Margaret Hunt, Audrey Belcher, Colene Hazel, and brother, James Bell.

Joe Ann was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ. She was a retired employee of English, Lucas, Priest, and Owsley and a former employee of Attorney George Boston, Attorney Dixie Satterfield, and Deemer Floral Company.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Harris (Steve) and Tracy Reels and son, Kevin Reels (Kim) all of Bowling Green, KY and son, Jason Reels (Jill) of Mount Juliet, TN. She is also survived and blessed by 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The family has entrusted J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with arrangements.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 11:00am in Bowling Green Gardens.

Following the graveside, a celebration of life visitation with the family will take place in the funeral home from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.

A one in a million long time friend, Joe Ann is looking down and smiling as she watches everyone in the Reels family. She blessed us all with her wit, sense of humor and genuine smile. Miss her too.
